Description
Echinocactus mcdowellii (also called McDowell's Barrel Cactus, among many other common names) is a species of cactus native to Mexico. It is a shrubby, clumping cactus with short, cylindrical stems that can reach up to 30 centimeters in height. Its stems are covered in small, white spines and are topped with large, yellow flowers.
