Description
Brachymenium angustatum (also called Narrow Brachymenium, among many other common names) is a species of moss in the family Brachytheciaceae. It is a small, yellow-green moss with ovate-lanceolate leaves that are up to 2.5 mm long. It is native to the Americas, Europe, and temperate Asia, and it grows in moist, shady areas.

Brachymenium angustatum has small, yellow flowers that are clustered in groups of 3-5. The seeds are small, round and black. The seedlings are small and have a single, long, narrow leaf.
Cultivation and Propagation
Brachymenium angustatum is a low-growing, evergreen perennial that can be propagated from seed or cuttings. It prefers moist, well-drained soils and full sun to partial shade. It is drought tolerant and can tolerate temperatures down to -20°F (-29°C).
