Tillandsia glauca (also called 'Glaucous Airplant', among many other common names) is an epiphytic plant native to Central and South America. It grows in humid, tropical climates, usually in the crooks of trees and other plants. It has narrow, pointed leaves and small, slender stems that rarely reach more than 20 cm in height.
