Description
Racinaea contorta (also called Contorted Racinaea, among many other common names) is a species of bromeliad native to Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and Venezuela. It is an epiphyte, meaning it grows on other plants, and is found in humid montane forests. It has a rosette of stiff, leathery leaves that are arranged in a spiral pattern.
