Description
Puya ochroleuca (also called Ochre Puya, among many other common names) is a species of plant in the Bromeliaceae family. It is a small shrub, growing up to 1 m tall, with a trunk diameter of up to 10 cm. It is native to tropical South America, and is found in Peru, Bolivia, and Ecuador. It grows in montane forests, and in disturbed areas.
