Description
Puya leptostachya (also called Puyas, among many other common names) is a perennial shrub that is native to the Andes in South America. It has long, narrow, leathery leaves and produces large, showy flowers on tall spikes. It grows in rocky, mountainous areas and is tolerant of drought and cold temperatures.
