Description
Orthophytum alvimii (also called Alvim's Orthophytum, among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant in the Bromeliaceae family. It is a small shrub, typically reaching heights of 0.5–1 m tall. It grows in tropical climates in moist, well-drained soils in full sun. It is found in open woodlands and savannas.
