Hechtia sphaeroblasta (also called Sphaeroblasta Hechtia, among many other common names) is a perennial herb that is native to Mexico and Central America. It typically grows to a height of 30-60 cm (12-24 in). It has large, oval-shaped leaves and small, yellow flowers. It is found in tropical and subtropical moist forests, as well as in disturbed areas.
