Description
Aechmea aripensis (also called Aripensis Aechmea, among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant in the Bromeliaceae family. It is native to Brazil, and is typically found in tropical and subtropical forests. It is an evergreen perennial with long, sword-shaped leaves that are green and glossy on the top, and silver-white on the underside. It produces bright pink or purple flowers.
