Description
Tabebuia elongata (also called Elongated Trumpet Tree, among many other common names) is a medium-sized tree, growing up to 15 m tall. It is native to the Caribbean, Central America, and South America, and is found in tropical and subtropical dry forests, tropical and subtropical moist lowland forests, and tropical and subtropical moist montane forests.
Cultivation and Propagation
Tabebuia elongata is a fast-growing, evergreen tree that can reach heights of up to 100 feet. It prefers full sun and well-drained soil. Propagation is by seed or cuttings. Seeds should be sown in a warm, moist environment, and cuttings should be taken from semi-ripe wood in the summer.
