Description
Bartramia macounii (also called 'Macoun's Hair-grass', among many other common names) is a perennial grass native to Europe, Asia and North America. It grows in meadows, grasslands, and open woodlands. It has a tufted habit with narrow, linear leaves that are up to 5 cm long. The flower heads are up to 15 cm long and are composed of many spikelets.
