Description

Asterella chilensis (also called 'Chilean Asterella', among many other common names) is a species of liverwort found in Chile. It is a small, yellow-green plant that grows in tufts and forms cushions on rocks, tree trunks, and soil. It is found in moist, shady habitats, such as forests and grasslands.
