Description

Asterella alpina (also called Alpine Asterella, among many other common names) is a species of liverwort in the Asterellaceae family. It is a small, yellow-green, thalloid liverwort with a creeping, branching habit. It is native to the Alps, and is found in humid montane forests and mossy rocks.
