Description
Diplazium ingens (also called Giant Fern, among many other common names) is a fern species in the Elaphoglossaceae family. It is native to Central America and South America, and is found in wet montane forests. It has a short, creeping rhizome and lanceolate-oblong fronds. The fronds are green, and can reach up to 25 cm in length.

Diplazium ingens has small, greenish-brown flowers and small, round, black seeds. The seedlings are small, with a single pair of cotyledons and a single, long, thin stem.
Where to Find Diplazium ingens
Diplazium ingens is native to Mexico and can be found in the states of Chiapas, Oaxaca, and Veracruz.
