Description
Symphyotrichum rhiannon (also called Rhiannon's aster, among many other common names) is an annual herb in the sunflower family, Asteraceae. It is native to California and Oregon, and it typically grows in open grasslands, chaparral, and woodlands. It has a single stem that is covered in short, soft hairs and grows up to a height of about 1 meter. Its leaves are lanceolate and have a rough texture. Its flowers are white and have a daisy-like shape.
