Description

Scorzonera nivalis (also called 'Snowy Scorzonera' and 'Snowy Daisy', among many other common names) is a perennial herbaceous plant native to South America. It grows up to 30 cm tall and has a woody base. Its leaves are covered with white hairs, giving it a woolly appearance. It grows in rocky grasslands and scrublands, and is drought-tolerant.
