Pentacalia jalcana (also called Jalca Pentacalia, among many other common names) is a perennial herbaceous plant native to the Americas. It typically grows to a height of 0.5–2 m, and has linear leaves with a length of 2–10 cm. The plant is found in dry, open habitats such as grasslands, roadsides and disturbed areas.
