Description
Melampodium appendiculatum (also called appendiculate melampodium, among many other common names) is an annual herbaceous plant that grows up to 30 cm tall. It has a basal rosette of leaves and a single stem with several lateral branches. It is native to South America and grows in dry grasslands, rocky slopes and disturbed areas.
