Cultivation and Propagation
Hieracium zelencense is a perennial herbaceous species that can be grown from seeds or cuttings. Seeds should be sown in a well-drained, sandy soil in a sunny location. Cuttings should be taken from the top of the plant in late spring or early summer and rooted in a pot filled with a mixture of equal parts of sand and peat. The cuttings should be kept moist and in a bright, but not direct, light until they have rooted. Once the cuttings have rooted, they can be transplanted into the garden.
