Description
Hieracium worochtae (also called 'Worochta hawkweed', 'Worochta hawk's-beard', 'Worochta devil's paintbrush', 'Worochta devil's-beard' among many other common names) is a perennial herbaceous plant native to the Carpathian Mountains of Romania. It has a basal rosette of leaves and a single stem with yellow flower heads. It grows in alpine meadows and rocky slopes at elevations of 1,500–2,500 m.
