Hieracium subgracilescens (also called slender hawkweed, among many other common names) is a perennial herb that grows up to 30 cm tall. It is native to western North America, from British Columbia to California, and is found in dry open woods, meadows, and rocky slopes. Its leaves are alternate, pinnately divided, and its flowers are yellow and daisy-like.
