Description
Hieracium paxianum (also called Pax's hawkweed, among many other common names) is a perennial herbaceous plant in the family Asteraceae. It has a basal rosette of leaves, and grows up to 0.5 m tall. It is native to Europe, and is found in a variety of habitats, including grasslands, meadows, and disturbed areas.

Hieracium paxianum has yellow flowers with a diameter of 1-2 cm. Its seeds are small, dark brown and oval-shaped. Its seedlings have a long, narrow cotyledon and a short, thick hypocotyl.
