Description

Hieracium gorfenianum (also called Gorfen's hawkweed, among many other common names) is a perennial herbaceous plant native to the southwestern United States and northwestern Mexico. It grows in open, sandy soils, often in areas with sparse vegetation. It has a single stem with a rosette of leaves at the base and yellow flowers with five petals.
