Hieracium aphyllum (also called Hawkweed, among many other common names) is a perennial herbaceous plant that can reach up to 30 cm in height. It is native to Europe, North Africa and temperate Asia, and is found in meadows, pastures, and other grasslands. It has a basal rosette of leaves and yellow flowers.

Uses & Benefits

Hypnum loricalycinum is used as a soil stabilizer and erosion control, and can be used as a mulch to help retain moisture in the soil. It is also used in the production of potpourri and as a decorative element in flower arrangements.
