Description

Helianthus praecox (also called Early Sunflower, among many other common names) is an annual herbaceous plant native to the prairies of the central United States. It has a basal rosette of leaves and yellow flowers with a diameter of 6 to 8 cm. It grows in sandy soils and is drought tolerant.
