Description
Blumea braunii (also called Braun's Blumea, among many other common names) is a shrub or small tree native to the Andes in Peru and Bolivia. It typically grows in dry montane forests and scrublands at an elevation of 2,000 to 3,000 meters. It has alternate, ovate to elliptic leaves that are 4 to 8 cm long and 2 to 4 cm wide. The flowers are small and yellowish-green and the fruits are small, woody capsules.
