Description
Aster alpinus (also called Alpine Aster, Alpine Michaelmas Daisy, and Alpine Fleabane, among many other common names) is a perennial plant native to the mountains of Europe, North Africa, and Asia. It has a basal rosette of leaves and stems that can reach up to 30 cm tall. It has white or pink flowers that bloom from July to September. It grows in meadows, pastures, and rocky slopes.
