Description
Artemisia palmeri (also called Palmer's Sagebrush, among many other common names) is an evergreen shrub native to the southwestern United States and northern Mexico. It has small, white flowers and aromatic, gray-green leaves. It typically grows in dry, sandy soils in prairies, meadows, and open woodlands.
Cultivation and Propagation
Artemisia palmeri is a perennial plant that can be propagated from seed or cuttings. When growing from seed, it should be sown in a well-drained soil and kept moist. It can be grown in full sun or partial shade. Cuttings can be taken in spring or summer and should be rooted in a moist medium. It is best to use a rooting hormone for better success.
