Description

Artemisia alba (also called White Wormwood, among many other common names) is a perennial herbaceous plant native to the Mediterranean region. It has a basal rosette of leaves and a single stem with a terminal inflorescence. The leaves are pinnately divided, with toothed margins and a pointed tip. The flowers are yellow and the fruits are small, round and black. It grows in dry, rocky habitats at elevations of up to 1,000 m.
