Description

Amphipappus fremontii (also called Fremont's desert-thorn, among many other common names) is a perennial shrub native to the southwestern United States. It has a woody stem with a height of up to 2 m and a diameter of up to 1 cm. It grows in dry grasslands, rocky slopes and stony hillsides.
