Cordyline stricta (also called Strict Cabbage Tree, among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant in the Asparagaceae family. It is native to the Mascarene Islands, where it is found in dry coastal forests and scrub. It is an evergreen shrub or small tree growing to 5 m tall, with a stout trunk and a tuft of sword-shaped leaves at the top.
