Description
Austronea acarophylla (also called Acarophyllum, among many other common names) is a shrub or small tree species native to the tropical rainforests of South America. It has a dense, rounded crown and grows up to 8 m tall. Its leaves are simple, alternate, and have entire margins. Its white flowers are small and fragrant. It grows in moist, humid forests and along riverbanks.
