Description
Agave toumeyana (also called 'Maguey de Toumey', among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant in the Asparagaceae family. It is native to Mexico and is found in the states of Durango, Hidalgo, Jalisco, Michoacán, Oaxaca, Puebla and Veracruz. It typically grows in dry, rocky hillsides and canyons.
