Welfia alfredii (also called Alfred's Welfia, among many other common names) is a species of palm native to Central America. It is a slender palm, growing up to 8 m tall, with a trunk diameter of up to 5 cm. Its native regions are in Mexico, and it is found in lowland tropical moist forest habitats.
