Description
Lemurophoenix laevis (also called Laevis Lemurophoenix, among many other common names) is a species of palm tree native to the island of Madagascar. It is a medium-sized palm, growing up to 10 m tall, with a single trunk and a crown of fan-shaped leaves. It grows in lowland rainforest and swamp forest habitats.
