Geonoma pohliana (also called Pohl's Geonoma, among many other common names) is a species of palm native to Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru. It is a solitary palm growing to a height of up to 8 m (26 ft) tall, with a trunk up to 20 cm (7.9 in) in diameter. It is found in humid tropical forests, often near rivers.
