Gaussia spirituana (also called Spirituan Palm, among many other common names) is a species of palm native to Central America, found in Belize, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and Nicaragua. It is found in moist montane forests, often in shady locations, at elevations of 500–1,500 m.
