Description

Euterpe precatoria (also called Preacher's palm, among many other common names) is a species of palm tree native to the Amazon rainforest in South America. It is a tall, slender palm with a single trunk, reaching heights of up to 20 m (66 ft). Its leaves are pinnate, with long, narrow leaflets. It is found in moist, lowland forests and along riverbanks.
