Description

Dypsis fibrosa (also called Fibrous Palm, among many other common names) is a single-stemmed, evergreen palm that grows up to 10 m tall. It has a slender trunk with a diameter of up to 10 cm and is covered with a brown-gray bark. It is native to Madagascar and is found in tropical and subtropical rainforests, as well as in dry forests and coastal areas.
