Description

Cyphophoenix elegans (also called the 'Elegant Cyphophoenix', among many other common names) is a species of palm tree native to New Caledonia. It is a small to medium-sized palm, growing up to 6 m tall, with a slender trunk and a crown of up to 10 leaves. It is found in humid forests, often in the understory of larger trees.
