Colpothrinax wrightii (also called Wright's Thatch Palm, among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant in the Arecaceae family. It is native to Central and South America, and can be found in tropical forests, woodlands, and disturbed areas. It is a perennial palm growing up to 5 m tall, with large, showy fronds in shades of green.
