Description
Coccothrinax leonis (also called Lion Palm, among many other common names) is a palm native to the Caribbean. It grows to a height of 6–15 m and has a single trunk. Its leaves are fan-shaped and silver-green, and its flowers are small and yellow. It prefers moist, sunny habitats and is salt tolerant.
