Description

Coccothrinax guantanamensis (also called Cuban Thatch Palm, among many other common names) is a palm tree native to Cuba and the Bahamas. It grows in a variety of habitats, including coastal areas, disturbed areas, and open woodlands. Its leaves are fan-shaped and silver-green in color, and its flowers are small and yellow. It is a medium-sized tree, reaching a height of up to 30 feet.
