Calamus tenuis (also called Rattan, among many other common names) is a species of climbing palm native to India, Sri Lanka, and Southeast Asia. It is a slender, unarmed, climbing palm with a smooth stem and long, pinnate leaves. It grows in tropical rainforests, often in the understory, and is found in the lowland and montane forests.
