Description
Calamus perakensis (also called Malaysian rattan, among many other common names) is a climbing palm native to Southeast Asia. It grows in moist and shady habitats, forming clumps of stems up to 10 m tall with narrow, lance-shaped leaves. The flowers are usually yellowish-green, and are borne in clusters of 2-3 at the top of the stems.
