Description
Calamus divergens (also called 'Divergens Rattan', among many other common names) is a species of rattan palm native to Southeast Asia. It is a climbing palm with stems up to 0.5 m long. The stems are covered with spines and are used in furniture making. It is found in tropical and subtropical rainforests, as well as in mangrove forests and coastal areas.
