Description
Calamus batanensis (also called Batanes Rattan, among many other common names) is a species of climbing palm native to Southeast Asia. It is a slender, unarmed, monoecious palm with a slender trunk and a large, open crown of pinnate leaves. It grows in tropical rainforests, swamps, and mangroves, often in areas with poor soil.
