Description

Bismarckia nobilis (also called Bismarck palm, among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant in the family Arecaceae. It is native to Madagascar. It is a large evergreen palm growing to 20 m tall, with a trunk up to 1 m diameter. The leaves are pinnate, up to 4 m long, with up to 100 leaflets.
