Description
Basselinia favieri (also called Red-Flowered Satinash, among many other common names) is an evergreen tree native to India and Sri Lanka. It has a dense, rounded crown and grows up to 20 meters tall. It prefers moist, well-drained soils in humid tropical climates and can be found in forests, along streams, and in other moist habitats.
