Bactris syagroides (also called Tucumã-do-campo, among many other common names) is a species of palm tree native to South America. It is a small to medium-sized palm, growing up to 6 m tall. It is found in a variety of habitats, from dry forests to wetter habitats such as swamps and riverbanks.
